Previously buying a car has involved haggling and being passed between various salespeople. Normally i enter car yards with trepidation but upon being greeted by Thomas i felt very comfortable. He listened to my requirements and answered my many questions and he made the process of buying a new car far more enjoyable than i had expected. Also i was very impressed at the delivery. On 22nd October I started to investigate buying a new car in Springwood. I wanted to try a Nissan Micra and took one for a test drive and had my car valued but the failure of the sales person to give me an actual figure, from which to make a decision, saw me leave really disappointed. I continued to check out each car yard along the Springwood stretch but still really wanted the Micra.
I decided to head over to Mt Gravatt passing Mazda on my way, so I called in just to see what was there. By 3pm I had bought a Mazda 2 and was delighted. Craig Cowan was an absolute delight to deal with. Despite me not considering a Mazda, his informative and genuine manner left me feeling delighted with my mind change and comfortable that my grandchildren will be transported in safety and that I now have an exceptional car to take me into retirement.
The professionalism, patience and understanding that Craig displayed was second to none that I had experience that day or previously. Even his chocolate making skills were impressive.
I collected my car on Friday afternoon, several days earlier than expected, and again, Craig's helpfulness and support was outstanding. I was also very impressed by the promise of ongoing provision that I can expect in the future from SCM.
Overall, I cannot tell you how excited and enthusiastic I am with my new car and I know that it was Craig's actions that saw me go no further than your show rooms and in fact buy a car that Saturday.
I had the option of going to the Teachers' Credit Union car sales people on the Monday to continue my car search but the way Craig dealt with me made me feel at ease and special! I really did not want to go elsewhere then.
